Inner Life Creations courses offer a pathway to gaze inward while expressing outwardly through creativity.

My work is rooted in the belief that creativity is a birthright and ultimately a responsibility, an important facet of the human creature and it's ability to heal itself and fully participate in the world. The creative process generates renewable energy and invitation for deeper connection.

In my practice I'm curious about playing with creativity combined with elements of monastic practice: discipline, sustainability, contemplation and community - and I've noticed that it has the potential to continually transform the individual, and also the world. The intention of playing with both contemplation and creativity simultaneously is to be still enough to hear the voice of the body, inner self and greater mysteries -- and -- to be activated enough by creative process to move what is heard from inside to outside. The contemplative elements are introduced with an open invitation, and the participant is always invited to engage their own agency and tug at the threads of their own curiosity.

Simply put ... Making art is enough!

I'll name, I've been teaching for a long time, but am just now learning to film while teaching. Looking forward to getting better and sharing that progress with you.  Thank you for supporting me as I'm on this arc of learning!

“It felt great to be supported not only as an artist, but as a spiritual being as well”

"Meg is a true inspirator. I have attended both her voice classes and her art classes and am always amazed at her passion to teach and connect people to their deeper selves and to each other."

Hi, I’m Meg!

I’m originally a Mainer, and always have been a hyper creative interdisciplinary artist, musician, spiritual companion and nerd for community.

I care about making art, art process, voice work and spiritual companionship accessible to all people. I care about gathering in circles and fortifying community through both self and communal engagement and experiential learning. Without creative problem solving skills, willingness to mess around and access to the parts of ourselves that speak in still, small voices, we personally and collectively lose out.

My private practice has developed through: earning my BFA through Maine College Of Art, chaplaincy training through the Chaplaincy Institute Of Maine, years of working with and learning from teachers, children, adults and elders, seeing clients one-on-one, facilitating circles, community art projects, holding ceremonial space, tending community, developing and teaching Contemplative Art Approach and Vision and Voice circle learning classes, and a lifetime of gathering in wisdom circles (where everyone is honored as a teacher of experience.)

I work with all age groups, and folks from many different walks. Nearly all offerings are sliding scale and/or affordable.

Currently based in the Pacific Northwest, and loving it. When I’m not painting, teaching or holding space for folks, I’m in the woods wildcrafting and experiencing this beautiful planet with my partner Charley and our little dog Zelda.
